Triple
Play!
A
highly effective case management system should generate
case plans which can be shared, are trackable, reportable,
and easy to use and change. The most important action
for any case manager is to provide a place where co-workers
can find the case plan and get direction. The MasterList
system is unparalleled in its ability to provide case
management signposts that help staff navigate the
tactical perils of each case and to provide a command
center for initiating, implementing and tracking shared
case agendas.
The
MasterList is more than just a powerful relational
database tool. It actually increases relational activity,
as a teambuilding tool, by providing a case concentric
interface that serves as:
- a
punch list
- a
bulletin board
- a
focus group
- a
project forum
- a
discussion forum (or case discussion group).
And,
it does all this without ever losing sight of its
primary purpose: to power track case agendas at whatever
level of detail is required by each unique firm and
user.
The
MasterList also supports other programs with which
it is compatible in the Windows launchpad environment
by employing simple tools that allow for a seamless
interface. Here's an example.
Create
a triple play, using Select All!
The
MasterList system mouse commands have been designed
so that the right click mouse function includes the
command: Select All. This is an important tool that
can be used to your advantage in multi-tasking scenarios.
Here
are some experiments you can perform with the Select
All command:
-
Go to a to-do task entry you have just completed.
Right click your mouse, and strike Select All.
Right click again and click Copy. You have now
grabbed your task description. Go to an Activity
Log in that case masterlist. Hit Date Insert for
today's date. Paste your text. You have now created
an activity log entry for the to-do task that
was listed in the task entry box.
- Why
stop there? Is your time and billing program open
on your launchbar? Go to the same case there.
Drop your text. You have now entered an accurate
description of what you did, based on your earlier
plan to do it.
- Why
stop there? Take your task description already
being stored by your mouse command over to word
processing and drop it into your status letter
or status memo to your client or supervisor. You've
just created a triple play off one mouse command!
- But,
why stop there? Perhaps in preparation for the
task you completed, you had utilized a dedicated
masterlist notepad with that assignment that contained:
- a
detailed outline of a deposition; or
- a
negotiation strategy; or
- a
tactical strategy; or
- a
running topical log; or
- a
telephone log; or
- a
running summary of your research.
- No
problem. Enter the notepad.
Right click the mouse.
Hit Select All.
Hit Copy.
Go to your word processing status memo or
letter and paste it.
The
MasterList system benefits users by providing a powerful
relational data base tracking tool for case plans
and agendas. But it is also extremely accessible to
other Windows-based programs across the Windows interface.
Because
our powerful notepads provide a rich word processing
environment for work product generation in terms of
ideas, logs, memos, and summaries, our system enhances
workflow processes and does not stop just at the work
planning stage. And, don't forget, you can "Select
All" in these notepads, too!
Simple
tools like our right click Select All mouse command,
combined with our Date Insert tool encourage firms
to utilize the full scope of The MasterList as a single
focal point for case action agendas from which you
can readily jump to other programs to implement case
agendas, including document production.
The
MasterList system is a powerful relational database
tool that professionals and staff can master easily.
Applying our system of flexible, shareable case-concentric
case plans as well as our powerful tracking and custom
reporting capabilities, you can transform a disorganized
practice into a new dynamic order.
